Class Experience
Welcome to class! In this one time class, learners will hear about the 4 seasons, and chat about the change of seasons, the type of clothing we would wear for winter weather, and some fun winter activities. We will check out some images of the winter season and learners cut, paste, and decorate a winter tree craft. Lessons in this class are taught through the use of interactive and informative slides as well as hands-on demonstration. Class sizes are small so learners can practice...
I am a fully licensed special education teacher for grades K-12 who currently holds a Bachelor’s of Arts. I have over 13 years experience teaching children. I have taught preschool in childcare centers as well as elementary schools. For the last 8 years, I have taught in a K-5 special education classroom (adaptive curriculum) in all subject areas. I have been trained in sensory integration, alternate assessments, data collection, and project-based learning.
Learners will need: -provided worksheet (can be drawn if printer is unavailable) - 1 piece of construction paper (not the color white, as we will be using white paint) -white paint and paint brush -scissors -liquid glue -glitter
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Lessons are taught using interactive and informative slides via Zoom Screenshare. No accounts or log-ins are required for this class. Learners may also need off-camera assistance with cutting using scissors.
