"What's That Smell?" It's a Skunk!
In this one time course students will learn basic knowledge and facts about a skunk. We will sing a silly song about a skunk and a smelly dog. Students will also be making a skunk craft.

US Grade Preschool - Kindergarten
In this one time class students will explore skunks. A animal that is feared by many because of the odor it gives off. A skunk is surprisingly a very interesting animal. Teacher Lauren will introduce the class to skunks though a interactive power point. She will share many facts about a skunk's habitat, eating habits, and more. Students will then learn a funny little song about a little skunk, and a silly dog. In our last activity students will be making a skunk craft. Students will be putting together their skunks and decorating the back ground of their project.
Learning Goals
Students will explore a skunk and will walk away with basic facts about the animal.

Hello, Parents! My name is Teacher Lauren. It's so nice to meet you! Let me tell you a little bit about myself!
With over 18 years of teaching experience I am so very excited to start an exciting adventure with your child. I grew up in a small shrimping community in Louisiana. I have a Associates degree in science in early childhood education. I have experience working with children both in a preschool setting and 3rd-5th grade in a classroom setting. I now have 2 years of experience teaching online in a virtual classroom.
I alter my teaching style to meet the needs of the student(s). I strive to engage children through games and hands on activities. I have created a flexible curriculum that can be altered to better suit my students. In my classes, your learner will be having so much fun that they will not even realize they are learning! I encourage a lot of engagement and participation between myself and the learners as well as learner to learner.
When I am not teaching I am with my family. I am married and have 3 teenaged children. We also have 2 fur babies named Nunya and Kajun. As a family we enjoy Friday night high school football games, or after the season ends you can find us having family game night. I also enjoy going to the beach, and disney.
