Learn how to create fun and engaging questions for podcasting, vlogging and interviewing a guest using improvisational tools. Students will learn 1. Creating and researching topics 2. Finding and asking guest to be on your show 3. Asking engaging questions 4. introducing your guest and giving credit 5. Learn about listening to your guest and building off their ideas Week 1 (week of march 7th) Introducing your guest - Learn about how to prepare for your interview Week 2 (week of march 14th) Questions only - Learn improvisational tools for asking questions and keeping your guest engaged Week 3 (week of march 21st) Yes and, - Learn about listening to your guest and building off their ideas. Week 4 (week of march 28tth) Staying on topic - focusing on the topic and how to guide your interview Learners get the opportunity to interview special guests and learn about new people, careers, disabilities, hobbies and more! Learning about interviewing can help students with job interviews, public speaking, communication and listening. We will start off with a couple improv warm ups and exercises that teach about creating new questions. After, we will give learners the opportunity to interview someone and learn about new things around the world. These special guest will include chefs, teachers, radio host, full time travelers or their classmates. If we have a special guests, they will be announced two weeks before class. If we don't have a special guest, learners will interview classmates and teachers. This class will allow learners to dive deeper into topics they want to know more about by interviewing professionals and discover what's new in the world!

Teacher expertise and credentials
David and Michael have over 10 years experience in teaching improv, performing and asking questions for shows. Both instructors have been on podcasts, radio, news and teach students how to ask questions for improv scenes and games like advice panel, reporter and press conference.
