From dissecting the menstrual cycle to unraveling the complexities of hormone function, participants will gain a deep understanding of how hormone health influences various aspects of life, with a focus on the pivotal role of nutrition. Designed to help teen girls navigate from understanding a typical menstrual period to effectively managing mood swings during premenstrual syndrome (PMS). Also, arm them with knowledge that they are able to hold to for support. Section 1: Hormones and Mood Regulation The physiological dynamics of the menstrual cycle Exploring key hormones and their functions Unraveling the correlation between hormone health and brain function Section 2: Practical Strategies for Hormonal Balance Navigating mood fluctuations during PMS Dietary interventions to support the menstrual cycle Tailored workouts to synchronize with hormonal changes Course Structure: Each session will commence with a participant check-in, fostering a supportive learning environment where individual needs are acknowledged and respected. Through engaging instructional methods, participants will embark on an enlightening journey of discovery, with ample opportunities for interaction and discussion. The course structure is as follows: 60-70% - Engaging Lesson Delivery 30-40% - Interactive Discussions, Questions, and Wrap-Up As a mental health professional and wellness educator, my primary objective is to empower learners with practical insights and strategies, ensuring that every participant feels equipped to navigate the complexities of hormonal health. No prior knowledge or prerequisite courses are required. All are welcome to embark on this enriching learning experience. * Atleast 3 learners must be enrolled.

This class will not offer any medical or mental health services. It will be for educational purposes only. This will be a class that will include general information about nutrition, brain health, and hormone health.

Additionally, I have completed child development and brain development research and worked as a certified educator. I am immensely passionate about teaching youth about mental health and have completed years doing so as a therapist and educator. Due to my background and expertise I will be able to teach this topic from a developmentally appropriate point of view. I have spent years creating age appropriate mental health content for teens and have a true passion for the field of mental health
