Class Experience

Students will improve their understanding about the Holocaust, sentence fluency, reading comprehension, word choice, and conversational skills. The goal is to not forget about this tragic event in history.
I am offering this course because, as a student of History, this is one of the most tragic events in modern times. I have studied World War II and the Holocaust while obtaining my degree in English Literature with an endorsement in world history. I have also gone through training as a World History Teacher Assistant where we covered the Holocaust and other events in world history. I will exercise discretion in presenting difficult or traumatic events in history.
Students will have two homework assignments in this course. Homework includes using a timeline of events, defining unfamiliar words, and writing about what they've learned so far. Homework document will be available under the classroom tab after you sign up.
 1 file available upon enrollment
Homework Handout pdf.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
2 hours 15 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
"What Was the Holocaust" includes violence, enslavement, killing and genocide which are important components for understanding and will be discussed. (The United States Holocaust Museum reference sourse)
