In this one time class, we will take a look at this 45 year psychological conflict that affected world history. Let's learn about: *What were the major countries that were involved? *What was the arms race? *How did school children prepare for attacks? *How was propaganda used? *What was the Bay of Pigs invasion and the Cuban Missile Crisis? *What was the HUAC? *How did the Space Race affect it? *What was the Domino Theory? *What was the Berlin Wall and when did it fall? *What marked the end of the Cold War? Come and join us as we walk through this unique period in history.
Learning Goals
Students will understand not only what the Cold War was, but also how it affected peoples lives.

Parental Guidance
This class will touch on the political ideologies of capitalism and communism. These topics will only be used in the context of understanding the differences between the two sides.
There may be some Youtube videos that are seen during this class. I will share my screen and learners will not need to access them on their own.
