In this class, students will listen to a story actively being read aloud. I will keep students' interest through varying my tone of voice. I will model to students how to read with expression. This is a great opportunity for students to be entertained through story during these unprecedented times. Through listening to this story, The Cat and The Hat, students' natural curiosity will be encouraged. I will encourage students to draw their own hat. Students may work on designing their own hat...
Students will be encouraged to draw and design their own hat to help keep little hands busy while listening!
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
15 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
