In this course, we will cover the following objectives related to telling time by the hour: Review numbers 1-12 Explore numbers on a Analog clock Review the analog clock Learn about minute and hour hand View digital clocks Practice telling time with game We will make a paper Analog clock. We will discuss why time is important and what is the students' favorite time of the day. Students will be able to share paper clocks and interact with other learners. We will talk about important time that is required throughout the day such as ; Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Naptime, Bedtime, etc. Spiderman images are used during class to encourage students and promote learning.
Learning Goals
Students will learn how to tell time to the hour.
Students will learn about analog and digital clocks.
Students will practice telling time with classmates & teacher.
Other Details
Parental Guidance
Basic counting skills from 1-12 are required for this class. Please help create paper clock and cut out short hand/long hand. I will share Youtube Links in the classroom after class for additional practice with time.
