The story is a chapter from Ruth White's book, Belle Prater's Boy. Students will practice listening comprehension and make predictions about what will happen next in the story. I have read this book to countless students for the past 20 years. They have always enjoyed it. It is a little scary but has much comic relief.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
