In this one-time 30 minute class, students will hear a wonderful story entitled “What Makes a Rainbow?”! We will have a fun time as we follow rabbit while he seeks out animal friends and finds out how to make a rainbow. We will learn to sing & sign both a “Hello” & “Goodbye” song, learn many colors, animals and question words in American Sign Language, enjoy a sign-along with two lively songs, we will then play a short color signing game if time allows to practice and reinforce the new skills we have learned in class! Great beginner ASL lesson for those with little or no ASL experience, or those looking to add new signs to their vocabulary!
Learning Goals
Students will learn 2 songs, hear a fun story, learn color signs, animal signs and a few question signs in ASL!
