It is encouraged that the student have some perspective knowledge prior to this class. Some slides with chiaroscuro will be shared to give examples of what we are talking about. Definition and explanation of the word Chiaroscuro. A live demonstration of how to achieve the shading effect in a drawing. Short drawing exercises will be given to students to practice during class and will be able to interact with other students and the teacher as they work on their drawings. Everyone will have the chance to ask questions and get feedback about their work in real-time. Some knowledge of drawing is required for this class. We will not learn how to draw but how to make the drawing more realistic.
