In this class, we'll focus on the Executive Branch of the United States government. We'll cover the following topics in an interactive, kid-friendly way. - What is a President? - What are the 7 jobs for the President? - What is the Presidential Cabinet and who is on it? - How do we choose the President? - What part of the governmental checks and balances is the executive branch responsible for? If time exists (depending on discussion and questions), we will read the book "Duck for...
All materials are included. A pdf packet will be available in the classroom a few days before class with optional worksheet activities to keep kids engaged during class. I also provide a couple of activities after class to help students remember what they learned.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
