This course will include the following topics: - What is Linux? - What do people mean when they say "Learn Linux"? - How to get started using Linux (the BASH Shell) - Some introductory commands in BASH Subsequent courses can be produced if this current course receives positive feedback. Additional topics can include: - More commands to learn - Modifying the default behavior of commands - Writing more sophisticated scripts in Linux rather than single commands

No prerequisites required -- come join with any or no experience at all!

There are two options for this course: - If you want to watch but not participate (not recommended, participation is a great way to learn), then you don't need anything beyond whatever device you're viewing this on. - If you want to participate (recommended), then the only difference is you'll need a computer that you have administrator privileges on.
