This short one-time class is your opportunity to get to know a philosopher. I will tell some stories about my background and career and allow some time for any questions. Topics will include:

- What philosophy is and what a career as a philosopher looks like
- The kinds of questions philosophers ask
- Some key topics in different areas of philosophy
- How philosophy is related to real life
- What you can learn from my other Outschool classes

No prior knowledge or experience is needed. Anyone can take this class.
