Class Experience

Common idioms will be introduced in the form of age appropriate literature. Students will listen to a story, then discuss the idioms they heard. After reading the story we will play a matching game will be played, matching the idiom with its meaning.

Student will increase their knowledge and understanding of idioms in the English language.

Assessment will be by informal observation and questioning by the instructor.

Pencil and paper

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
