What Do You Do Best? Story Time and Drawing

In this 1-time class, I will read " What I do Best" by Allia Zobel Nolan. We will have discussions, where students will have the opportunity to share things that they do well. We will end with a step-by step drawing of a trophy.

Description

Class Experience

Students will gain encouragement of doing things well.
No Homework.
However, I do have a suggestion for parents.
Every time you see your child do something WELL, put a sticker on the trophy they drew. Make a big deal about doing things well. Examples of things kids do well: ( tie-shoes, pick-up toys, say "Thank You," make bed, brush teeth, help mom or dad, good math, good drawing, good singing, saying "I'm Sorry," and sharing./
Pencil, paper and crayons
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
not apply
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
I hope to have on going classes on BEHAVIORS. / Examples: Manners, sharing, saying "Thank You," saying "Please," and more./ Be on the look in the future.
