In this class, students will learn the names for various types of animals in Spanish and their associated sounds - according to Spanish speakers. For example, a dog may WOOF in English, but he says GUAU GUAU en español. A rooster may say COCKADOODLEDOO in English, but he says "QUIQUIRIQUI" in Spanish. Students will learn the Spanish word for each animal, their associated sound and the verb for the sound they make. They will be provided with coloring sheets for each "talking" animal which will also serve as their class notes.
Learning Goals
Students will learn the names of various types of animals and the sounds they make as expressed in the Spanish language. They will also learn the words to a catchy song to help them remember all the new animal words learned.
