Class Experience

Developing the skills to identify and express feelings is the foundation for learning to appropriately manage our emotions. In this class, your child will learn the definition of emotions and will practice identifying a variety of feelings. We will discuss what the various emotions feel like inside, what they look like on the outside, and where they come from. We will also use common and relatable scenarios to practice recognizing and naming emotions. We will look for clues in the scenarios to determine what emotions are being felt by the characters.

The material will be presented in a fun, upbeat manner using lots of visuals to increase engagement. Learners will be encouraged to actively participate by sharing their own thoughts and ideas. We will even be acting out the emotions by making silly faces together - which is always a lot of fun!

If you have any questions, please send me a message. I can't wait to meet your learner!
