What will be taught? - In this one time class students will identify and learn about the New Seven Wonders of the World as confirmed in 2007. What topics will you cover? - Name of the Wonders (old and new) - Location - Interesting Facts How will you teach? - I will teach this class by having myself as the teacher be the main facilitator. When initially starting the lesson I will set aside time to gauge and build a positive rapport with my students. Addressing them each by name and also...
Within this 4 week summer camp, students will learn the following: - The continent, country and city location of each of the New Seven Wonders of the World. - The features that cause each individual Wonder to be a popular tourist attraction. - Any interesting facts about each sight.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
The learners will be assessed through informal questioning that will take place during the lesson as well as when playing a game.
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
