In this fun and fact filled class, learners will enjoy a lecture/discussion based class as they enjoy a slideshow presentation.  No prior knowledge is needed.  Your dinosaur enthusiast will learn the importance of math and science in this profession.  Your child will learn about the unearthing process, how bones are located and studied, as well as other types of jobs a paleontologist can do.  Learners will develop better public speaking skills and a deeper love for learning as they learn about a topic of interest to them.

I have taught about this career and also have taught around 75 different dinosaur types throughout my teaching career.  I have expertise in knowing this career well and have many years of research on this career and fossils.  I have found several fossils in my life-time through mini excursions. *disclaimer...i did not find dinosaur bones, but I did find several other small animals.
