In this class, students will learn some interesting facts about whales. This class will focus on whale migration, how far they travel, and why they migrate.

Class experience

Students will examine how the changing seasons trigger the migration of whales to other parts of the ocean. Students will focus on three whales, the grey whale, the blue whale, and the humpback whale by mapping their migratory patterns.

1. "How far do whales migrate?" worksheet (PDF provided [1 page]. Will need to be printed out) 2. Pencil 3. Eraser
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
