Description

Class Experience

In this class, students will learn all about panda bears, the body parts of them, discuss new vocabulary, and learn different fun facts! 

We will begin class by discussing the characteristics of a panda: what they eat and how much they eat, how much they weigh and how tall they are, and where they live, using a slideshow. The teacher will provide a coloring sheet for the students to complete during the class.  We will read a section of the National Geographic Kids Book, "Pandas", that goes...

Students will learn different facts about panda bears. Students will be asked comprehension questions at the end of the lesson.

After class, the students can finish coloring their coloring sheet, if they did not finish in class.

  4 files available upon enrollment-Crayons, markers, and/or colored pencils 
-Scissors (with parent/guardian supervision)
-Teacher provided handouts
-Glue or tape 
-Your favorite bear toy

*Students are asked to pre-cut the panda cut and paste activity, as to optimize our time together.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
