Description

Class Experience

In this fun, interactive class, students will learn about newborns and what it is like to be a big brother or big sister! 

Topics included will be:
--What a newborn looks like and how they act
--Why we need to be gentle with newborns
--What babies eat (will generally cover "nursing" and bottle feeding)
--Diapers
--Why babies cry
--How they can safely help with the new baby

I have been a pediatric and newborn nurse for over 15 years. In that time, I have also helped teach the Baby Basics class at my local hospital for expectant parents. I absolutely love being a part of this exciting chapter in a family's life and I am so excited to meet your learner in class!

No homework

At the end of class, I will ask the students questions about what we have learned to informally assess their progress.
