G'day mate! Welcome to the Outback of Australia! In this one-time class, learners will explore 15 of Australia's most amazing animals. From cute Koalas to poisonous snakes, Australia is home to a unique variety of animals, birds, and reptiles! I am from Canada, but I have been living in Australia for almost a year and I have been lucky to see some of these awesome animals such as Kangaroos, Koalas, Sea Turtles, Quokkas and more! This class is 60 minutes and learners will discuss different Aussie animals characteristics, habitat, diets and more! Welcome to the Outback! See you in class!

Hello! My name is Colleen and welcome to my classroom! I am from Canada, but I live in Australia. I adore and am fascinated by animals and I want to educate young learners about the fun and interesting facts about all things animals. I have a family dog back home in Canada and two dogs, a cat, and a budgie in Australia. I have also had many other pets such as fish, ducks and chickens! Besides a passion for animals, I am also an online ESL (English as a second language) teacher with VIPKID and Cambly. I believe that fun discussions and sharing are great skills for students to have and develop. I also find it keeps students interested and engaged in the subjects they are learning. Therefore in my classroom, there will be a lot of discussions, questions, sharing, activities, constant encouragement and fun energy! I look forward to seeing your learner in the classroom! Reviews
