In this one-time class we will learn about the planet Saturn. Students will explore composition, extreme weather, stunning ring system, and collection of moons. We will pay special attention to Titan and Enceladus. We will investigate questions such as: What is Saturn made from? How did Saturn’s rings form? Why are Saturn’s moons Titan and Enceladus so special? How does Saturn differ from the other planets? The class is lecture and discussion based. Learners will view and participate in a presentation full of images and some videos. They will have the opportunity to ask questions and think critically about the Saturnian system!
