Welcome families and caregivers! This is an ongoing class in which students will gain knowledge in all age appropriate areas. I am a strong believer that every student matters. Along with the core curriculum I will be incorporating a new self affirmation word each week. I think it is important for students to know just how special and amazing they are. This is a foundation for a great year and a strong sense of self love. We will also be exploring many STEM activities and lessons! This is the same curriculum I use at home with my own children. In this ongoing class we will be gaining a strong foundation for Kindergarten! This class is perfect for children ages 3 to 5 years old. In every meeting time we will start off with welcoming all our friends and letting them have a few minutes to chat with myself and peers. We will then discuss the day of the week and the weather. After that we will dive into our activities. Each week will have a different theme and activities will be based off that them. Any items that need to be printed will be posted the week before in the classroom. This ongoing class will be run just like I ran my in person preschool morning meeting. I would love to have your little one join me in learning letters, numbers, patterns, fine motor skills, social skills, music and so much more. This class will be a mixture of PowerPoints, stories, movements, and a lot of hands on activities! Some key areas students will be working on are as follows: Calendar Weather Letter and sound recognition Number recognition Counting Shapes Colors Fine motor skills Patterns Simple addition and subtraction and more... A monthly calendar will be sent out at the time of enrollment so that you can see what the plan is for the month. As this is an ongoing class, you may join and leave at any point. Classes do not build upon each other and content will be reviewed throughout the year. The most important aspect of preschool is the social component and they will be receiving a lot of it! =) Please reach out if you have any key areas you would like to see in the class.

PRINTABLES WILL BE SENT OUT IN THE CLASSROOM THE WEEK BEFORE. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE ACCESS TO A PRINTER, IT IS COMPLETELY FINE. WE WILL MAKE DUE WITH WHAT YOU HAVE.

Hello everyone! My name is Ashley, I live in the United States, throughout the last 12 years I have been a preschool teacher, after-school program director and a general manager. I built my way up in the same company and have worn many hats. I have in depth experience working with children of all ages. In 2011, I received my bachelors degree in human development and Human Resources with a concentration in Early Childhood Education. More recently, since 2020, I have been teaching on Outschool. This has been my favorite position yet!! What I love about education and teaching children is the connection that I am able to form with them. I want children to feel comfortable and have fun learning. Aside from teaching, I have two children of my very own who I homeschool.
