Welcome to Bloxburg!! This fun game will be even better with new friends that meet and play each week! Join us as we build, create, work, role play, and do so much more in Bloxburg! Students will join the teacher's private neighborhood so that there will be only a safe and positive environment to play in! (The public will not have access to this neighborhood.) Don't see a time that works for you? Let me know and I will add a time that does! Since this is a gaming class, there will be no lesson, nothing building on the next week, so drop in and play with us at any time! After enrollment, you will receive the teacher's username, which you can friend request, and then you will receive instructions on how join the teacher's neighborhood! Class size will be kept at 7 so that everyone can interact and not have to break up into breakout rooms. This way everyone can play together! **Please note, because this is a social class, children are not muted and are encouraged to talk, make friends, play games within the games. This means that the class could be lively and be loud. I encourage the students to wear headphones if this would disturb others in the house. If I need to mute, I will to answer questions, help a student, or manage the class. But this is a social and fun class! Now, let's have fun!!!** Students are welcome to attend more than one session a week, if they want, because each class will be different students and new things to do and play! If you have any questions, feel free to message me!! Photo Credit: Rebeka B

I believe in igniting the fire for the love of learning and meeting children where they are at. I also believe the best way to learn is through play, hands on experiments, and having fun. My favorite things to teach are STEM, Math, facilitating safe gaming classes, and reading classes.
I attended University of Houston at Clear Lake and received my Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education- Young Children with Disabilities and my Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education- Children with Disabilities. I was the owner and founder of The Mind Body Lab, where I taught STEM, Art, and Yoga classes. I am also a private tutor.
I was the Assistant Director of Early Childhood camps for University of Houston at Clear Lake, and for 6 years I designed, developed, and implemented inclusive camps for young children. I have also taught a homeschool science classes at a local nature center, where I prepared lesson plans, wrote lessons that included STEM, and instructed an inclusive class.
I believe every child learns in a different way and the way I teach will reflect that. I plan my classes in a way where all learners needs are met, we do not all learn the same so I offer multiple ways to understand the subject.
I have homeschooled my children for the last 12 years. I am a first degree black belt and love everything martial arts!
My goal is to educate, include, enlighten, ignite, and help children explore this world.
