In this class, students will explore a wide variety of the history and culture of Ancient Egypt. During our four week adventure together, your learner will explore the astounding pyramids of Egypt, discover some of their amazing inventions, investigate the mysterious mummies, and decipher the ancient hieroglyphics.

Students will enjoy learning using a variety of methods, including videos, slide presentations, drawing, brainstorming and arts and crafts. Students are encouraged to engage in the class by asking questions and sharing their progress by means of online discussion. 

Being a flex class, students participate when it works with their schedule. Each week will include an uploaded video demonstrating a new lesson, and a Kahoot review game. A worksheet will also accompany both the lesson plan and the video, to help with taking notes, which can be used during the Kahoot review game.

Weekly Discussion Questions:
On Mondays, discussion questions will be uploaded to the classroom page. Students will share their responses on the classroom board. Sharing can be done via a video log or in written form.
