In this one-time class, Firefighter Trainees will learn all about becoming a firefighter. Join fire pup Marshall to learn what it takes!  Trainee exercises--are you in excellent shape? What equipment do we need? Do firefighters do more than just putting fires out? Marshall says, "Be there on the double and find out!"  We will have fun joining a virtual firetruck ride along while learning basic fire safety. You're a real hero! Your community needs you so let's gear up and train for the task! 
 ☺☺☺ We will use a small stuffed animal for part of our fire safety training. Not required but definitely makes class more fun & memorable. 
◘ ◘ ◘ Wear your firefighter helmet or costume if you want! I love that, too!

 After class, trainees can enjoy extending class by coloring their own personalized color sheets. 

I use colorful slides, a combination of lecture and interactive teaching, a couple of brief video clips, and color sheets for an interactive, engaging class. We will use their favorite stuffed animal to practice fire safety tips, too. 
Trainees are encouraged to ask questions and take turns with other trainees.

**Equipment Needed**
Working Camera is required
A working microphone 
Students must check in by showing their face at the beginning or they will be placed in the "waiting room" until they check in correctly 
Headphones or Earbuds encouraged. This helps with background noise and helps keep the trainee focused. 

**Platform Knowledge**
Please go over mute/un-mute with your trainee Prior to class beginning
I will start class on time and will not have time to help with equipment issues/questions
Know how to turn your camera on 
Please conduct a sound check, too

**Student Ratio**
One student per enrollment. You will be placed in the waiting room if there are friends or siblings visible in the screen. 
You are welcome to enroll other siblings if there are enough spaces. They may share a screen if both students have enrolled. 
Parents are encouraged to be close by to assist young learners with any IT issues. 
>>> However, no adults in the computer frame for safety reasons.

**Outschool Policies/Refunds**
I adhere to all Outschool Policies. 
We will start and end class on time. 
If no learner is present after 10 minutes, I will exit the class. The Outschool policy states, "If your learners have not joined the meeting 10 minutes after the start time, the meeting may be cancelled, at the teacher’s discretion. This is considered a missed meeting and you are not entitled to a refund."  I will follow all of Outschool's refund policies.
