In this ongoing class, kids will learn both a new color and a new word each week that they may not be familiar with. We will also be going alphabetically-first week the color and word start with 'A', second week will be 'B', and so on. Each class will begin with a fun question of the week, followed by a lesson on a color and a word. I will show photographs that give examples of the color of the week, and encourage learners to think of more things in that color. When I teach the word, I will...
The only homework for this class will be to apply what they learned in class by 1) Trying to use the new word they learned, and 2) Keeping their eyes open for something in the color they just learned about. They do not need to write anything down or bring anything to class. I just want to encourage them to use their newfound knowledge.
Supplies will not typically be required, though I may occasionally ask learners to bring simple supplies like paper and a pen.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
15 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
