Kids love animals, kids love weird things, kids love crafts. Let's put it all together into 1 fun week-long summer camp. Each day we will focus on a different animal. We will learn all about the animal and its habitat. We will come to understand why it looks the way it does, what its habits are, and what it needs in order to survive. During this camp the students will learn: - animal facts - information about animal habitats - conservation - world geography - ecosystem -life cycle of different animals
I was a brick and mortar teacher for 20 years. I mostly taught in the middle school setting, but my first few years of teaching were spent in elementary school. I have always loved animals and the environment and have spent a lifetime learning about these topics.
You will receive a packet when you sign up for the camp and will have plenty of time to get the supplies you need for the camp. We will also make do with what you have if need be.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
3 hours 40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Please note there are no live animals in this camp. I do not possess any of these unique, majestic animals.
