This class is based on a very fun and informative read aloud from the book: My Weird School Fast Facts - Geography. We will learn very interesting facts about the earth, it's continents, the land and water on the earth, natural disasters, and about our fifty states. The book itself is written in a dialogue format with students parring back and forth about the information that they know. I have taught elementary education for 16 years in the public school setting for grades 1-3. I have a strong background in reading and love using reading to teach across other content areas. It is my goal and desire to show every child that reading can be fun and that it can cover a variety of interests and that we can learn many things while reading.
