In this one-time course students will dive into history to learn about weird and disgusting facts from the past. These details are often overlooked in history books but they all happened. Do you know why high heels were invented? How about what urine was used for? How about the eating habits of Crusaders? Students will dive deeper into history to learn what life was really like in medieval and colonial times.
I am a history teacher that has been teaching Medieval World History for the last 16 years. I love that time period. I am also mom to 4 children ages 12-3.
Enjoy retelling those stories.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
