Class Experience

In this one-time course students will dive into history to learn about weird and disgusting facts from the past. These details are often overlooked in history books but they all happened. Do you know why high heels were invented? How about what urine was used for? How about the eating habits of Crusaders? Students will have fun being grossed out and learning about strange practices from history. This class will entail story telling, discussion, and trivia.

Each class will begin with a brief meet and greet, I will ask students what their favorite time period or topic in history is. Then I will start presenting and story telling the gross facts, asking questions, and discussing each one with the students. This is a very interactive class with lots of discussion. This should be a fun class with lots of reactions.

No previous experience or knowledge needed. I hope to see you in my classroom!
