In this ongoing club students will do a book study on the book "How They Choked: The Failures, Flops, and Flaws of the Awfully Famous" by Georgia Bragg for 14 weeks. Everyone makes mistakes! Failures can become deep dark secrets or super successes. This book looks at 14 famous historical figures and show you their human side since nobody is perfect. Students will practice literacy skills such as comprehension while fostering a sense of history. Students will examine various historical characters to gain a better understanding of their life and times. Students will understand that real history is more than just names and dates and even famous people make mistakes.
