Description
Class Experience
Class will be done using a powerpoint presentation and photos. Students will also have the opportunity to meet at least one real live axolotl that I own. Students will learn about Axolotl's habitat in the wild, where they lived, why they are endangered in the wild and what their natural preditors are. They will also learn about their natural diet. Axolotl's are such unique animals. Alot of people have never even heard of them! I have been raising Axolotl's for approximately 4 years. I also rescue axolotls who are sick or injured.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
We will discuss how they are dying in the wild and are almost extinct. Video recording may not be shared even if requested. Outschool does not require the video to be shared. Video will NOT be shared if 1) there are any safety concerns that appear during the course of class (ex. Student giving personal information) 2) if there are students who are new to outschool and do not show up for class. (all students are to be verified, if a student has never taken an outschool class and they do not come to class to get verified they are not considered a verified learners for safety reasons) Transfer Request policy No transfer requests will be granted if requested with less than 24 hours notice prior to class starting.
