Class Experience

US Grade 2 - 4
In this ongoing course, students will learn and review the fundamentals of paragraph writing through an interactive lesson and writing with a picture prompt. We will focus on everything needed to write a quality paragraph, specifically: an introduction, supporting details, and a conclusion. We will also learn about the need to stay organized and on topic, as well as to be descriptive in our writing.

The first 15-20 minutes of class will be devoted to our lesson of the day. During the remainder of the class, students will be given an opportunity to be creative and practice what we have learned through writing their own paragraph. Students will be given a picture prompt to use when writing their paragraphs.

The following topics will be discussed each week:

Teacher expertise and credentials
I have been working with children of all ages for the past 15 years, and I absolutely love motivating children to learn and find the joy in learning.

My undergraduate degree was in Developmental Psychology, and I have taught high school students for many years. I have been teaching on Outschool for over two years and love every minute of it! I am currently a work at home mom of five young boys, so I am comfortable working with all age groups.

I look forward to working with your learner!
