In this 5-week course, we will work through the entire writing process together and will be able to read our stories to each other when they are complete!
Class experience
In this class we will take a deep dive into the writing process. We will be exploring the different parts of Narratives, expanding our vocabulary, and perfecting our sentences and paragraphs. This class will require students to work on their narratives outside of class but will have time to work while we hold discussions in the live meetings. Each week we will work on a different part of our Narratives until we come up with a beautifully written story. Week 1: Brainstorming Week 2: Rough...
Students will gain a greater understanding of the writing process. Learners will also gain confidence with group discussions, while also learning how to support their peers.
I have had many years of tutoring classes with English classes. I have worked extensively with helping students on their creative writing pieces.
Learners are encouraged to have a couple sheets of paper and a pencil during classes to be able to take notes and critique their own work with the help of the teacher and peers.
