Celebrating weekly accomplishments, no matter how small, and reflecting on moments that make us feel proud, happy, special, etc. are great ways to gain self-confidence and feelings of empowerment. In this class, learners can reflect on these accomplishments while also sharpening language and self-expression skills through writing, speaking, and creating. Whether it is a small achievement or a milestone, a funny moment or the best day ever, there is always something to feel positive about....
Paper and pencil, drawing and/or other art materials (if wanted) * I recommend a journal, sketchbook, etc. to be used just for weekly reflections/positivity journaling for this class.
