In this ongoing, weekly meet-up, young aviation enthusiasts will gather for lively discussions on a wide range of topics. What's the latest in aviation news? Heard about the newest technology development? Do you know what happened on this day in aviation history? How do you tell a Boeing 777 from an Airbus 380? How do thrust reversers work? How can I become an Air Traffic Controller? How can I best prepare for a career as an airline pilot? Check out this awesome flying video! Will drones replace fighter jets? So. Many. Topics. Topics will be learner-driven. Captain Matt will have great conversation starters standing by in case learners need some prompting. No supplies will be required for this class.
Learning Goals
The goal of this "club" is to provide opportunities to exchange aviation-related knowledge, fuel interest in the field, and build relationships among like-minded learners. The topics are virtually endless. We will create a fun, enthusiastic, and positive atmosphere where all fellow lovers of flight feel welcomed.
