Class experience
Hello and Welcome to Preschool-Themed American Sign Language (ASL) Classes We will learn over 20 - 40 signs each week from different themes. We will first learn how to sign the word, then put it to a song and play a game to help the children remember how the signs fit together. I will interact with the children using visuals, demonstrations, and music. We will learn to sign different stories. Children need no knowledge of American Sign Language. Just be willing to learn. I have been teaching American Sign Language for over 15 years. I worked in the Deaf community for 10 years. I teach a music and movement program in my local area and teach American Sign at different Preschools and private kindergartens in my local area. My daughter and I use signs to communicate as she is hard of hearing and also an Outschool teacher. My goal is to make learning fun so that learners want to keep learning. No sensitive information that is a high- risk topic.
