Class Overview: Join us every week for an exciting and hands-on STEM experiment where we dive into the fascinating world of science! Each week, we’ll explore a new concept through fun, interactive experiments that engage students and help them understand the scientific method. From building simple machines to exploring chemical reactions, students will discover the principles behind everyday phenomena while fostering curiosity and critical thinking skills.

Lesson 1:
Scientific Method
 Objective: Understand what STEM is and learn how to perform experiments using the scientific method.
Activity: Perform a simple “sink or float” experiment with small objects (e.g., coins, paper clips, plastic toys).
Materials Needed: A bowl of water, small household items.

Lesson 2:
Basic Forces
 Objective: Learn about basic forces and how they affect movement.
Activity: Create a simple balloon rocket and observe how air pushes the balloon forward.
Materials Needed: Balloon, string, straw, tape.

Lesson 3:
Chemical Reaction
 Objective: Explore basic chemical reactions and how substances change when combined.
Activity: Make a baking soda and vinegar reaction in a plastic bottle.

Lesson 4:
Simple Machines – Levers
 Objective: Understand how levers work and how they make work easier.
Activity: Build a simple lever with a ruler and a pencil and use it to lift an object.
Materials Needed: A pencil (or similar object), a ruler, a small object to lift (like a book).
