Come compete in a weekly spelling bee to actively work on your spelling and also to learn new words! Winner walks away with bragging rights for the whole week.

Does your learner need to brush up on their spelling? In this group, we will have a weekly spelling test, but in spelling bee style! Students will be given a list of about 8-12 words a week ahead of time to study. They will be pulled from a list of sight words for Kindergarten students. During class, we will have a spelling bee! If there is a tie, I will pull words from the master list until someone wins. Winner has bragging rights for the whole week! Each week will have different words to study. I loved spelling when I was in school and cannot wait to pass that love on to your learner! Sample weeks: Week of 10/2- Cat Sat Fat Hat Bat Rat Chat Pat At Mat Week of 10/9- Man Pan Ran Tan Fan Can Van Ban Week of 10/16- Pet Let Jet Get Set Rad Dad Sad Fad Week of 10/23- Big Dig Pig Fin Sin Win Tin Kin Actual word list will be given when your learner is enrolled in class.
Learning Goals
The goal for this club is to master the spelling of basic sight words for Kindergarten or for an older learner to brush up on their spelling skill.
