Description

Class Experience

Students will develop their reading fluency and confidence by taking part in a read aloud script.  We will read a variety of scripts designed for first and second grade reading levels.

Classes are kept to 5 or less learners to ensure each student gets the attention they deserve.  Each student will have plenty of time to read, and plenty of lines.

Fun printable puppet crafts will be provided to bring some life to our productions.

Students will develop confidence and fluency through repetative reading.  They will also practice active listening and learn to work as a group.

No homework will be assigned, but optional extension activities will be made available in the classroom.

Printables from the classroom
A pencil, popsicle stick, or other similar item for puppet construction.
Tape

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

35 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
