Class Experience

Printmaking is an artform for discovery.  The materials are readily available and generally inexpensive.  Printmaking encourages the learner to invent and experiment.   In this course, we will focus weekly on various printmaking techniques: using simple and everyday found materials, as well as experimenting  with different papers and printing surfaces.  No experience is required- these workshops are designed to introduce children to the artform of printmaking; encouraging creativity,...

We will be using simple, readily available materials- such as cardboard, plastic bags, styorfoam, tape and non-toxic water-based acrylic paints to name a few, and lots of paper.  I will provide a detail weekly material list and resources for materials upon registration, as well as post weekly in the classroom

45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
