In this ongoing weekly class children will explore creativity through weekly arts and crafts. Children may come and go as they please as each craft will be unique to that week.
Class experience
In this class children will be encouraged to explore creativity and expression through guided crafts. Each week children will be required to have a set of supplies to create a specific and unique masterpiece of their own. Crafts will range from directed drawings, to sometimes messy hand painting with each child being given the opportunity for self expression. Children will learn fine motor skills as they work, as well as acceptance and understanding of the differences in each child’s work.
A weekly supply list will be sent to the parents prior to each week with time to purchase any needed craft supplies.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Throughout this class students may be required to get a little messy, which is a great part of learning. With the chance for oops and spills, a parent would be wise to supervise just in case and offer their child help when needed.
