In this ongoing course, we will learn about a new subject from nature every week while we make a paper plate craft of the topic! Learners will explore animals, plants, insects, weather elements, and more while we practice our fine-motor skills and creativity. Each week learners will need at least two paper plates, scissors, glue or glue stick, and whatever coloring supplies they prefer. But your Learner is welcome to use whatever additional craft supplies in whatever creative way they come...
Learners will practice fine motor skills while learning and sharing about a subject.
Miss Cassidy is an educator, performer, and kid's content creator! As an educator, Cassidy has taught K-12th grade in brick and mortar schools, cyber schools, and performance art schools, teaching subjects ranging from theater and art to history and science, cooking, and even emotional awareness. In addition, she has performed at children's birthday parties both as herself and your favorite fairy tale characters. Through these endeavors, she truly found her passion lies in educating and encouraging kids of all ages to discover and cultivate their talents and confidence and to step out of their comfort zone to find their inner weirdos.

This class is inclusive, which means Learners of all abilities and backgrounds are welcome. Together we work to build an inclusive environment that encourages, supports and celebrates our diverse voices. We share and respect pronouns, we support each other's Learning differences, and we create a safe space for all Learners. If your Learner needs any accommodations, please let me know, and we will work together to ensure that they have the best possible class experience. Please note that this class requires the use of scissors by your child. If they are not comfortable doing so, please be ready to help them off camera. Please make sure you have all of the supplies needed for our craft. Any Learners who do not have the necessary supplies are still welcome to participate in the conversation and follow along with the craft so they may do it on their own when they have the supplies.
