Goals will be determined on an as-needed basis according to the parents and learners. Each learner is unique.
I am a certified ELA and theatre teacher with 15+ years experience teaching at all grade levels.
Students are expected to make progress on assignments between sessions.
Progress reports will be regularly offered in writing to parents. A pre-assessment will be determined based on the learner's needs and goals in preliminary conversations with the parents. If the project is writing based, I will ask for a copy of the assignment and a copy of whatever work in progress the student already has. I will come to our time together having already assessed this work in order to maximize our time together. After our session, I will send written feedback to the parent.
45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
