US Grade 1 - 5
In this one on one class, the focus will be on the student's own math needs. We may cover many topics in math such as integers, fractions, positive and negative numbers, equations, variables, decimals, square numbers, measuring, and much more. I have many tricks up my sleeve to help kids see things differently. My teaching style is very calm and supportive. I have taught math in public schools for many years, so have improved my lessons and my ability to recognize students' strengths and struggles. No experience or knowledge needed! No stress here.

Algebra ll and pre-calculus.
Throughout my career teaching in Michigan's public schools, my students often said that I made math "much easier to understand," which is a great compliment!
My philosophy behind teaching is that the more fun and relevant the lessons are, the more kids relate to it and want to learn more. Math can be fun when it is applied to situations in our lives. My desire to help students drives me to continue improving lessons each day!
