Learners will learn various drawing, painting and coloring techniques. Each class is carefully crafted and designed to build more skills and confidence. Students will learn to mix and blend colors, to create their own shades and tones. We will learn how to use various mediums and create paintings that are rich in both colors and shapes. We will draw and paint in realistic style and learn how to "see" like artists. We will learn how to stylize modify and alter realistic style to create our own. Besides learning technical skills each young artist will be empowered to make their own decisions and create original art pieces.
Drawing supplies: Pencils Eraser Sharpener Ruler Brushes Jar for water Tissue for cleaning brushes Pallet (plate for mixing colors) Learner should have at least one wet and one dry medium in order to take a class. You don't need to have all mediums to start class. It is better to observe and learn a little about materials before committing to purchase all. I can also give you advice or answer any questions about drawing mediums. *Wet medium- suggested mediums one or any: watercolor, acrylic or water based oil colors *Dry medium- suggested mediums one or any: Colored pencils, crayons and/or pastels. *Markers- alcohol or water based
Please check description and read a label of every medium your purchase for your learner. Some paints could be toxic and it would be good to avoid them.
